About Us

Merville House is a restored Georgian Mansion House, located in the residential setting of Merville Garden Village Newtownabbey

A joint project between Merville House Limited and Merville Residents Association, the house re-opened after extensive renovation in April 2006 and since then has hosted numerous business and community events, as well as weddings and social occasions.

 The venture is a non profit social enterprise, with a head for business but a heart in the community, overseen by a board of directors and employing two members of staff to take care of the day to day running of the House. The board are supported by Merville Residents Association and a number community volunteers and has established itself as popular venue for all kinds of events, from large conferences to intimate weddings and includes a number of clubs and societies with activities such as Yoga, Bridge, Photography and Ju Jitsu.
