UCIT
recently used Merville House as a venue for a high profile launch of the first
all-Island tradeshow for Social Enterprises, Networks 2008. The launch was
attended by the then Minister for DETI, Nigel Dodds, as well as a number of
business leaders including the Chairman of the CBI in Northern Ireland, Brian
Ambrose. We found the venue to be an excellent location for the launch,
conveniently located on the outskirts of Belfast
and set in attractive surroundings. The House provided an elegant setting, with
all the modern facilities that we required.
"The venue
worked so well for us that we have already booked again for our next event,
which will be the UCIT AGM later this year.”
Jonathan
McAlpin - Director of
Operations, UCIT
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Patricia and
Jim for an excellent venue in Merville House which you volunteer to manage.
I would like to say that we have held many events at
Merville House. The venue provides for all our needs, from technological
requirements to excellent kitchen facilities. We always receive an excellent
and personal service.
We find it to be very popular with all those who attend our
meetings."
Afnan Hashemi-Zadeh – Secretary
of the Baha'i Council for Northern
Ireland
