Merville House is privileged to be one of several venues within the Borough of Newtownabbey, licensed to host Civil Wedding Ceremonies.

 Our Robinson and Rowan Rooms provide an ideal space for ceremonies of up to 40 guests, whilst our Coey Room can host up to 100 guests and affords the Bride and Groom the unique opportunity to personalise the room to their specific requirements.

 Our enchanting staircase, unique stained glass window and grand original fireplaces add to the already stunning surroundings to present a glorious setting for your photographs on your special day.

 We provide a red carpet on entrance to the house, alongside chairs set up in the room for your guests and a table for the registrar. 

The additional spaces within the house make perfect venues for a champagne reception, such as the mezzanine lounge, entrance hall and gallery areas, and the bridal party have the opportunity to use the whole house as their personal venue for the duration of their wedding ceremony, allowing guests to mingle and soak up all of the stunning facilities, from our grand armchairs in the entrance hall, to our comfortable sofas in the gallery, with lough views.

 As well as your ceremony, we can also provide additional spaces for a wedding breakfast, lunch or supper.

 We have a dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator at the house, who can help you with all of your arrangements and we also have a Wedding Decorator who can advise and help with personalising the venue and dressing it for your special day.
